There are eight trims in the Defender 90 series—the Defender 90 base model, the 90 S, 90 X-Dynamic S, 90 X-Dynamic SE, 90 X Dynamic HSE, 90 X, 90 V8, and the 90 V8 Carpathian Edition. Nine trims of the Defender 110 series let you choose from—the 110, 110 S, 110 SE, 110 X-Dynamic SE, 110 X-Dynamic HSE, 110 XS Edition, 110 X, 110 V8, and the 110 V8 Carpathian Edition.

Meet the New Defenders on the Block

There are two new models available in the 90 and 110 series that add both capability and flair to your drive. The Defender V8 is a true driver’s car with a throttle connection tuned to maximize your off-road control and on-road charisma. The V8 engine puts out 518 horsepower, 461 lb-ft of torque, and on the 90 models gives a top speed of 149 mph.

The Defender V8 Carpathian Edition is also available in both the 90 and 110, and features the same off-road character and control of the Defender V8. The difference is in the design, with an exclusive combination of Carpathian Grey paint with a Satin Protective film and a Black contrasting tail door and hood.

Available exclusively in the Defender 110 series, the distinctive Defender XS Edition comes in Gondwana Stone, Hakuba Silver, Santorini Black, or Silicon Silver exterior paint choices. It also features body-colored lower cladding and wheel arches and 20-inch Style 5095, 5 split-spoke, Gloss Dark Grey with contrast Diamond Turned finish wheels.

The Defender lives up to its name with Driver Assistance features that keep you safe, alert to potential dangers, and focused on and off the road. The base model Defender 90 and Defender 110 come with ten standard Driver Assistance features including a 3D Surround Camera w/ ClearSight Ground View. This world-first technology uses cameras in the front grille and on the door mirrors to give you a virtual view of the ground beneath your wheels, making extreme terrain and tight parking easy to conquer.

The mid-trim levels of the Defender 90 and 110 series—the Defender 90 X-Dynamic S through the 90 X models and the Defender 110 SE through 110 X models—are equipped with the 3.0L P400 i6 MHEV engine of.

The highly-capable 5.0L P525 V8 gasoline engine comes standard in the Defender 90 V8 and 90 V8 Carpathian Edition as well as the Defender 110 V8 and 110 V8 Carpathian Edition, putting out 518 horsepower, a top speed of 149, and 0-60 mph time of a stunning 4.9 seconds.

For the ultimate off-road capability, the V8 models are also equipped with Electronic Air Suspension w/ Adaptive Dynamics, Electronic Active Differential, Terrain Response® 2 w/ Dynamic Program, Configurable Terrain Response, All-Terrain Progress Control, and Advanced Tow Assist.
